Rafael Zequeira Jiménez received his Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering (equivalent to Master of Science) from the University of Granada, Spain in 2014.
During 2013 he was making an internship at Telefónica R+D in Granada, where he was part of a software development group within the Quality Assurance team.
During the academic course 2013 – 2014, Rafael was studying at Technische Universität Berlin within the Erasmus program, at this time, he worked on his Master Thesis entitled: “Secure multi protocol system based on a Resource Model for the IoT and M2M services”. Also in parallel to this, he made an internship at the SNET department from TU Berlin working as Student Research Assistance in the TRESOR project, at this time, he was focused on designing and implementing REST APIs to communicate different components within the project.
In June 2015 Rafael joined the Quality and Usability chair lead by Prof. Möller, to work in the “Next Generation Crowdsourcing” group, specifically in the Crowdee project lead by Dr.-Ing. Tim Polzehl.
