Quality Metrics for Explainable AI Systems

Abstract: This Bachelor thesis investigates the quality of experience of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) systems. Its goal is to discover which features are the most relevant in the XAI quality assessment. After a thorough analysis of the related work on this topic, an online experiment is conducted to measure the impact of the features simulatability, confidence, and understandability in the perceived quality of XAI.
