ABSTRACT:
Usability and user experience related to responsive websites are becoming an increasingly important topic in modern web development processes. This talk investigates the usability of a responsive website registration process compared to a non-responsive variant with empirically obtained data and cognitive modelling. One main goal is to determine whether the data between the website variants and various (mobile) devices differs regarding their task completion times. The other goal is to verify the goodness-of-fit of a CogTool based cognitive model with the empirically obtained data. Additionally, the AttrakDiff Mini questionnaire was applied to determine the user experience of both website registration processes.
