The advances in mobile radio systems technologies  and IP-based networks  guaranty a promising future for VoIP services. The quality of this service depends on several factors, including the wired network parameters such as, packet losses, delay, jitter, and the impairments on the wireless network. Thus, the speech quality estimation in a communication system is a challenging task due to the different degradation-types.
