Android-based questionnaire app to examine the usage of Wikipedia Mobile in the field

ABSTRACT:

This talks deals with mobile user research. As part of a bachelor thesis, an Android-based experience-sampling questionnaire tool was planned, implemented and applied in a field test.

Linked to the Wikipedia app, probands had to respond to a preconfigured set of questions following every app-usage.

Main results of the field test as well as the research background will be discussed, followed by a live-presentation of the app and its features.
