Motivation & Project
Neuroscientific results can be exploited for developing robust `real-world´ applications that have a major potential for industry. The Bernstein Focus: Neurotechnology Berlin (BFNT-B) brings together a multidisciplinary faculty with the aim of directly applying insights from basic neuroscience to relevant applications. The major aim of the BFNT-B is to foster novel noninvasive ‘brain reading’ techniques to enhance man-machine interactions.
The project A3: “Neuro-Usability”: Neurotechnologies for Man-Machine-Interaction is one project from the BFNT-B and will deploy biosignal sensors to measure and model aspects of usability(e.g. efficiency, satisfaction and joy-of-use).
- Experiments with two exemplary applications including fMRI and EEG recording
- A model of usabilty judgement based on neuronal processing
- Usability evaluation test protocol
