Domain Model for the Question Answering Agent of the Quality and Usability Lab

Besides voice portals so called chat-bots or agents are becoming more and more popular with each passing year. In this thesis we extended an existing domain model of Quality and Usability Lab virtual agent. The virtual agent is aimed to help answer questions regarding the organization of courses provided by the Quality and Usability Lab at TU Berlin. Via a web interface students can ask their questions and get responses. The first part of the talk is focused on describing related work, expected results and key characteristics of domain model. The second part presents domain model implementation, the extraction of relevant information from QU Lab website, dialogue management and query generation.
