ABSTRACT:
P.TCA is a method for identifying technical causes of sub-optimum speech transmission quality.
In this talk, we present two new training methods for naïve annotators together with their evaluation. The results show that the training methods do not meet their expectations, because for naïve annotators the consistency was reduced compared to no training at all.
It is concluded that 20-minute trainings rather confuse naïve annotators by conveying too much information in too little time and are thus not sufficient to prepare naïve annotators for the requirements of the rather complicated P.TCA annotation task.
