We kindly ask you to send all your requests to  by e-mail. Due to the corona situation and the current infection events, the administration team of the Quality and Usability Lab will not personally be in the office on a regular basis. Instead we are reachable anytime by e-mail – in urgent cases also by telephone during the usual office hours.

What is Usability?


The majority of systems and services which are provided by computer science, electrical engineering and information technology, finally address the human user. As a consequence, it is essential to understand the user and his interaction behaviour for designing successful systems and services. more to: What is Usability?


  • SigDial 2020
    In response to COVID-19 the SigDial 2020 will be hold as a virtual conference. There will be pre-recorded talks and demos, also various live events like Q&A sessions, mentoring and spaces for “hallway” conversations.

    The QU-Lab will be represented by Thilo Michael and Sebastian Möller with their papers:
