Zusammenfassung | With the aim to develop an opinion model for gaming applications, Study Group 12 has decided during the last Study Period to start work on three work items about influencing factors on gaming QoE (G.QoE-gaming), subjective methods for assessing gaming QoE (P.GAME), and the actual opinion model (G.OMG). While G.QoE-gaming resulted already in the Recommendation G.1032, work on G.OMG is still in progress. It is the aim of the present contri-bution to provide a stable text for a Recommendation regarding subjective evaluation methods for gaming quality (P.GAME). It is based on the previous Contribution SG12-C.098 submitted for the September 2017 meeting, reflect-ing the discussion points during that meeting with respect to the length of the test stimuli in the passive test paradigm, and correcting minor inconsistencies. |
